The Elks Hoop Shoot is a national free throw contest that has been developing gritty kids for 50 years

Youths 8 - 13 advance through local school contests to the Lodge contest in Red Lodge, winners move on to the district, then the state, then the region, and then to the National Finals in Chicago.

6 National Champions will have their names and photos displayed at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA

Includes schools in Absarokee, Belfry, Bridger, Columbus, Fromberg, Joliet, Luther, Roberts, Red Lodge.
