Add to Calendar 11/23/2023 11/23/2023 America/Denver Red Lodge Event's Turkey Trot Your favorite holiday event in Red Lodge is back again. A free, family and dog friendly run/walk at the Rodeo Grounds in Red Lodge. The course is a 3-mile, double out and back which makes it perfect for the 1/2 trot option of 1.5 miles as well. Even though there is no cost to participate, we ask that all participants sign up online (or in person on event day) to ensure they are covered under our insurance and we get an accurate count of participants.

Well behaved dogs welcomed on a leash, please bring poop bags! We will have a dog handler volunteer outside of the building to hold your dog while you register or grab post-event snacks as dogs are not allowed inside.

Strollers are welcome, please check the weather prior to the event to ensure your stroller tires are adequate!

We will do our best with what Mother Nature delivers so plan on warm weather, cold weather, or who knows what kind of weather!

All donations will go to BareTooth Cupboards. At this time, BareTooth Cupboards is not able to accept in-kind donations. While the event is free, we ask that all participants consider making a donation to BareTooth Cupboards. For two evenings, our downtown shops open their doors late and the entire town turns out for the kind of holiday cheer and goodwill that keeps the hearth fires burning til spring. So bundle up the kids and bring your holiday shopping list. It is a perfect recipe for enjoying the holiday season.

(who knew there were so many ways to decorate a snowplow?)

If you want to be in the parade there is no pre-registration required -- just show up by the library at 5:15 -- anything that pushes snow is welcome!! Be there with your plow, snowblower, shovel, tractor, St. Bernard, or whatever you have.

All are invited to participate. The only criteria is that you must push snow. Feel free to use your imagination!
